I’m Deneen from The D(etroit). In 2022—the year I retired—I made a decision: I was going to live a dream life. I started using my PTO, fully disconnecting, traveling, and encouraging other women to unplug and pour back into themselves too.
After my early retirement in June 2022, that intention grew into my work empowering Women of Color to live boldly through example, my coaching, and my podcast Women of Color: An Intimate Conversation, a 100 Best Women’s Empowerment Podcast.

For me, the dream looks like international travel, art, live events, and experiences that spark joy. An art exhibit or a concert that requires a passport? Absolutely yes. 😄
