Are you a swing dancer? Well even if you’re not join Lindy Hop Detroit and Swing Dancing for a once a month social dance at Polka Dot bar, 2363 Yemans in Hamtramck on July 10, 2025. Sit and chat while you listen to music or try out the dance floor. It’s styled as a French bistro but it’s a good old neighborhood bar. No kitchen so feel free to bring snacks. There’s a $5 cover that goes to Detroit Lindy Hop $ Swing Dancing. Starts at 9:00pm. It lasts until at least 11pm.

Join us for a fun filled night with friends at the Polka Dot bar, a AFrench bistro styled cafe with a wooden floor. ll ages are welcome. It has a working bar/bartender, but no kitchen so you are free to bring your own snacks.

DJed music. No class. Just dancing and camaraderie to music 8:30 until 10:30 or 11pm or later depending on how long the dancers feet hold out. $5 cove

To everyone who came out to our first Creativity Nights Series: Art & Soul—thank you for showing up, showing love, and sharing your creative energy. And to those who reached out but couldn’t make it this time, I appreciate you just as much.

Your presence, participation, and good vibes made this experience unforgettable. I’m so grateful for this growing community and the space we’re building together to explore creativity in all its forms.
