Started this on the plane this morning and I’m a quarter through. Any financial book recs?
@Lolo Thanks for the rec on this one.
@Lolo Thanks for the rec on this one.
My annual goals are to read/listen to two books a month; for the year, usually 1/3 is “eyeball reading” and the other 2/3 is “audio reading” (both are valid forms of reading to me). I tend to do the latter more because I read hundreds of pages per week at work.
Currently reading “Consider This” by one of my favorite authors, Nedra Glover Tawwab. I’m reading this a second time (read it 3 months ago) because it is sooo good. ☺️
Eyeball and audio are both very valid, but recently I was listening to a book and the narrator was so horrid I switched to the physical book—soooo much better. It was Anita Monte Laughs Last.
I'm currently reading "Vanishing Half" by Brit Bennett. So far so good. Just started it. Saw it recommended on a FB post. 😊
Prior to this I read "This Could Be Us" and "Before I Let Go" both by Kennedy Ryan.
I've started reading the books AND listening to the audio book while I'm out and about and I like how it works for me.
Anyone else do this?
Recently finished THIS and Quicksilver by Callie Hart.
Oooh, I love finance books (especially with behavior/psych mixed in). Here’s one I recommend (below). Also check out Ramit Sethi’s new book, “Money For Couples” and also his 1st book “I Will Teach You To Be Rich.” It sounds gimicky but he did that intentionally lol. He also has a cool Netflix series called “How to get rich.”
