I’m zone 7b. I notice some of my seeds, tomato in particular seem to have personality and won’t germinate til THEY feel like it. I tried to get them going indoors over winter and almost zero sprouted. I thought most of the seeds might have been bad so went and bought seedlings but kept watering the pot for the 2 or 3 that did sprout. Fast forward to April I think all the rest of the seeds I put in that pot started sprouting, like around 20 I think. The spot I planned to put them I already put the seedlings so I wound up giving most of them away. Moral of the story, sometimes they need just as much patience as water.
